The Instrument

The thing reading this generates electricity and gives off light, and almost no one runs it near capacity. This is the manual: a longer, healthier life, sleep you can wake up inside, and the higher states the mystics chased for lifetimes.

Right now, while you read this sentence, the thing reading it is rebuilding itself, cell by cell, out of the air you just breathed. You were handed the most sophisticated instrument in the known universe at birth, and no one ever gave you the manual.

You were given endless instruction on how to live, what to chase, and who to become, and none at all on the instrument doing the living. That is what this is. Not a religion, not a philosophy, not a belief you are asked to adopt, but the operating manual for the instrument you are reading with: the body, and the mind that runs on it.

Written in the plain language of mechanism, and aimed at the edge of what the design can actually do.

And the design is staggering. Thirty trillion cells, and inside almost every one a row of metal centres passes electrons hand to hand like current down a wire, the same move that runs a circuit board. A nerve fires by throwing charge down its length at a hundred metres a second. The heart runs on a pulse of voltage a machine reads straight off your skin.

The whole surface emits a faint, measurable light. You are glowing as you read this. Behind the centre of your forehead sits a gland that grows actual crystals and can either harden toward stone or be brought back to life.

And at the base of the spine waits a reserve of creative charge so strong that the traditions which learned to drive it upward instead of spending it called what followed a second birth. None of it is metaphor and none of it is mysticism. Every line of it is mechanism, measured and citable.

What is actually on offer

Most of what you have been taught to fear, and to manage with a pill for the rest of your life, is not bad luck and it is not your genes. The obesity. The diabetes. The heart disease and the blood pressure. The autoimmune conditions. The arthritis and the fibromyalgia. The migraines, the gut, the skin, the thyroid that slows. The exhaustion no test explains. The depression and the anxiety. Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. The cancers.

It is the predictable output of an instrument run in the wrong conditions: starved of what it needs, drowning in what poisons it, run year after year on fuel it cannot use and a light cycle it never evolved under.

Restore the conditions and the body does the one thing it has known how to do since the first living cell. It heals itself.

This book will not cure a single thing, and it does not need to. The body is the healer. These pages only show you, in exact and unhidden detail, how to stop standing in its way.

What waits on the far side of that work is not a tidier version of the life you already have. It is a different instrument. Here is what changes.

  • A longer life, and far more of it spent well. Years added, and the long grey decline most people accept as aging stripped out of the years you keep.
  • Energy that does not crash, and a mind that stays clear from the moment you wake to the moment you sleep.
  • Sleep that actually rebuilds you, and dreams you can walk into fully awake. The lucid, navigable dream is a trained skill, and the gland behind your brow is the switch for it.
  • Freedom from the cravings and the appetites that quietly run most people's days, the hunger, the restlessness, the pull of the things that drain you.
  • Deep meditation reached on command instead of chased for an hour, and the vast, still states of awareness the contemplatives spent their lives mapping, which the laboratories are only now catching up to measuring.
  • The creative and sexual charge you have been spending and leaking, turned around and driven upward into focus, drive, and a presence other people feel when you walk into a room.
  • A clarity that changes what it feels like to be alive, because a clean instrument is the one that can finally hear the signal under the noise.
You were not built for maintenance. You were built for a performance almost no one ever sees.

How it is done

This is a sequence, and it runs in order, because each stage is what makes the next one possible. Read it from the front and it walks the instrument up from the ground.

First you rebuild what the wire is made of: the minerals the soil quietly lost, and the few supplements a body can actually absorb.

Then you pull out what jams it: the heavy metals driven into the circuit like grit into a bearing, the stalled lymph, the parasites in the gut, the silted liver.

Then you reopen the gland of seeing and feed the cleared instrument the wavelengths it is built to absorb, the sun on the skin, the photon load living food still carries, the water the body is mostly built from.

And then you learn the oldest and most guarded discipline there is, how to take the charge you have been spending at the base and drive it up the spine into the brain. By the last page you are no longer reading about the body. You are operating it.

There is one thing you have to protect before any of it is yours, and it is the one thing being taken from you right now.

The instrument that does the learning is your own mind, and you are being trained, a little more each day, to hand it over, a question at a time, to a machine that will think in your place and charge you nothing you can see. Win that back first, because none of the rest is reachable without it.

So we begin one step back from the body, with the mind you think with. Then down into the dirt, where the instrument is made.

The Incorruptible Body · OpeningThe Last Library

A single machine now answers most of the questions humanity asks, and it does not answer to you. The most useful knowledge about your own body has been buried on purpose. Here is how to dig it back out, and how to verify every word of this book for yourself.
