Sex Energy Transformation

Sex energy is the most concentrated charge the body holds, and most people spend it blindly. This kriya does the opposite, it builds the charge, then transmutes it into ojas, the refined essence that feeds the spine, the nerves, and the brain. The early movements wake the sex chakra, the navel point, and the lower spine, then draw the energy up out of the digestive system and into the heart. The closing pranayam and mantra open the psychic channels and carry the kundalini all the way to the highest chakras, projecting the mind past ordinary earthly consciousness.

Lie on your stomach. Set your hands flat on the ground directly under your shoulders (1A). Arch your neck back and press up into cobra pose (1B). Inhale and lift your hips straight off the ground into front platform pose (1C). Exhale and lower your hips back down into cobra pose. Repeat 26 times, then relax for 2 minutes on your stomach. The teacher chants "Ong", the infinite creative consciousness, on the inhale, and "Sohung", I am Thou, on the exhale. This holds the rhythm and keeps the mind focused.

Come into cow pose (2A). Exhale and stretch forward until your hips and chin touch the ground, keeping your head up and your arms bent (2B). Inhale and return to cow pose. The teacher chants "Ong" on the forward motion and "Sohung" as you resume cow pose. Repeat 26 times.

Immediately, without resting, lie on your back. Bend your knees and hold your ankles with your hands, keeping the soles of your feet on the ground next to your buttocks (3A). Inhale and raise your hips up (3B). Exhale and bring them down. Repeat 26 times, rest for 2 minutes, then repeat 26 more times.

Immediately lie down on your back. Raise both legs 18 inches and begin long deep powerful breathing for 30 seconds. Bring one knee to your chest, then the other, with each deep inhale. Keep alternating this push-pull action for 45 seconds to 1 minute. Inhale and hold both legs straight out for 5 seconds. Relax.

Inhale deeply, then exhale and hold the breath out while applying mul bhand. Hold the breath out as long as possible. Repeat the inhale, exhale, hold, and mul bhand 4 more times. Then relax down.

Completely relax for 5 minutes, letting the energy circulate. Think of God and God consciousness. Feel unlimited. Then, lying on your back, repeat out loud "God and me, me and God, are one" about 12 times, raising the pitch and volume often. Inhale deeply, hold for 15 seconds, then exhale. Begin the chant again, but very powerfully, chanting loudly from the solar plexus with your eyes closed. Do not feel shy. Inhale and exhale deeply eight times, then inhale, hold the breath in, and raise both legs to 90 degrees for 15 seconds. Exhale and relax.

Chant "Ek Ong Kar Siri Wha Guru" in the following manner. When you chant "Ong" and "Guru", apply and release mul bhand. Gradually the mul bhand will become so strong and locked that it stays held easily throughout the entire chant. Continue chanting for 6 minutes. Inhale and hold for 15 seconds. Relax or meditate.
