Eliminate Tension and Stress

Tension is stored prana that has forgotten how to move. This kriya teaches it to flow again. The first meditation calls in Jupiter energy, the current of prosperity and expansion, while the body releases what it has been gripping. The second movement empties you, it lets the held weight rise off the nadis and leave, so the nervous system can finally rest.

To experience the Jupiter energy and release tension. Sit in Easy Pose. Form the left hand mudra: let the Saturn finger, the middle finger, cross over the back of the Jupiter finger, the index finger. Close the other two fingers and lock them down with the thumb. Rest the back of the left hand on the left knee. Form the right hand mudra: extend the Jupiter finger, the index finger, straight up, and close the other fingers locked down with the thumb. Bend the right elbow so the right hand sits at about chin level. Close your eyes, relax, and quickly move the Jupiter finger around in a circle. Only the Jupiter finger moves. To get rid of tension so you can live, to let it all go. Sit in Easy Pose. Extend your arms out and down with the palms facing up. Circle your extended arms inward and upward, continuing all the way around to complete the circle. Push hard as you move upward. Continue for 3 minutes. Then inhale deeply and relax.
