Sit on your heels. Stretch both arms straight up over the head, palms pressed together. Inhale. Now pump the stomach: forcefully pull the navel in toward the spine, then release it, again and again in a steady rhythm, until you need to exhale. Then exhale. Inhale and begin the pumping again. Continue for 1 to 3 minutes, then inhale. Exhale and relax. This stirs digestion and wakes the Kundalini energy in the third chakra.

Sit on your heels. Bring the hands into bear grip (2A) at chest level, forearms parallel to the ground. Inhale and hold the breath. Without letting the hands separate, pull them apart against each other with your maximum force. Exhale. Inhale and pull again. Continue for 1 to 3 minutes. Inhale. Exhale and relax. This opens the heart center and stimulates the thymus gland.

Sit on your heels with the fingers interlocked in venus lock behind your neck. Inhale. Exhale and bend forward, bringing your forehead to the ground. Inhale and sit back up. Continue with powerful breathing for 1 to 3 minutes. Inhale, sitting up. Exhale and relax. This improves digestion and brings flexibility to the spine.

Sit with the legs stretched out straight in front of you. Reach forward and grab your toes. Bending from the waist, bring your forehead to your knees and your elbows to the floor. Stay in this position, breathing normally, for 1 to 3 minutes. Then inhale. Exhale and relax. This lets the glandular secretions from the earlier exercises circulate through the body and lets the body relax deeply.

Sit in easy pose. Begin rolling the neck clockwise in a circle: the right ear toward the right shoulder, the back of the head toward the back of the neck, the left ear toward the left shoulder, the chin toward the chest. Keep the shoulders relaxed and still, and let the neck stretch gently as the head circles. Continue for 1 to 2 minutes, then reverse the direction and continue for 1 to 2 minutes more. Bring the head to center and relax. This exercise and the two that follow it work together to open circulation to the brain and stimulate the higher glands, the pituitary, parathyroid, thyroid, and pineal, which together bring harmony to the whole body.

Come onto your hands and knees. Set the knees about shoulder width apart and keep the arms straight, no bending at the elbows. Let the head drop down and toward the chest, relaxed. Inhale and flex your spine downward, as if someone were sitting on your back (6A). Then inhale and flex your spine the opposite way, keeping the head down (6B). Continue rhythmically with powerful breathing for 1 to 3 minutes. Gradually pick up speed as the spine grows more flexible. Inhale in the original position. Exhale and relax. Triangle Pose. Supporting yourself on the palms of your hands and the soles of your feet, with your rear end up in the air, form a triangle with the ground. The body makes a straight line from the heels to the buttocks and from the buttocks to the wrists. The head stays in line with the body, and the arms should be about 2 feet apart. Hold this position for 5 minutes, breathing normally. Then inhale. Exhale and slowly come out of the position and relax. This aids digestion, strengthens the entire nervous system, and relaxes the major muscle groups of the body.
